The 1-Page Action Loop
From Idea to Action in Under an Hour
Use this framework to break free from analysis paralysis. The goal is not perfection; it's momentum. Fill this out as quickly as possible.
1. THINK (5 Minutes)
What is the one problem you are trying to solve or the one goal you are trying to achieve right now?
Example: I need to get more engagement on my Instagram posts.
2. IDEA (10 Minutes)
Brainstorm ONE simple, rough idea to address the problem above. Don't overthink it. Choose the simplest one you can execute quickly.
Example: My idea is to create a post that asks a direct question to encourage comments.
3. TRY (15 Minutes)
What is the absolute minimum version of this idea you can test? This is your Minimum Viable Test (MVT). Outline the basic steps.
Example: My MVT is to write a simple text-based post with a bold question. 1. Write the question. 2. Find a simple background. 3. Post it with a CTA to comment.
4. DO (25 Minutes)
Execute the MVT you just outlined. Right now. Do not wait. The 25 minutes are for creating and posting it immediately.
The goal is to go from idea to live experiment in less than one hour.
5. DO AGAIN (The Next Loop)
After you've posted, you've completed one loop. The next loop begins by analyzing the results.
- What was the result? (e.g., number of comments, likes)
- What did you learn?
- Based on what you learned, what's your next thought/idea?
That's it. You've just completed a full cycle. Success comes from running this loop over and over, faster and faster.
